We met in March 2008. Our first date was at the Oak Lane Diner and lasted about 3hours! We sat, ate, and talked like we'd known each other for years. There was an immediate level of comfort between us. After about 3 months of dating we decided to become exclusive. (That's because Tony knows a good thing when he sees it.)

In January 2009, we started a 12-week Pre-marital class at my church. We both agreed that the time had come for us to really start getting serious. Love had been blossoming, so it was time to take the next step.

On February 28, 2009, after my sorority's Peanut Luncheon we went ring shopping on Jeweler's Row. We found the perfect set and Tony put down a deposit. On the way back to my house, Tony was acting a little strange. I asked him, "Are you freaking out?" He said, "No!". When we got back to my house, he dropped to one knee and proposed. I was shocked! Even though he'd just put a deposit on a ring, I honestly did not see the actual proposal coming. Obviously, I said yes!

We will tie the knot on Saturday October 24, 2009 at From the Heart Church Ministries of Philadelphia. The ceremony will start promptly at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. From the Heart Church Ministries of Philadelphia believes in excellence of ministry and lateness is not an option. From the Heart is located at 3600 N. 20th Street in Philadelphia.

A "Petite" Reception at the church will immediately follow the ceremony for all guests. A private dinner will be held at separate location.
